Default 4.5 hrs of claybaring, polishing, and waxing later..

Ex had Brad until 8pm (it's a long story why she had him on Father's day..) so, after going out for lunch, this is how I spent my Father's day.. pulled the GT out and gave her some much needed attention.

It was hotter then hell out Sunday so both Triss & my ex think I'm crazy.. What do you guys think?

Looks good, I clayed mine before Carlisle...it's something alot of people look past doing but the results if you do it properly are well worth the time.

Nice job!

Saw some of your cars you have done here lately on facebook...you should def have before and after shots.

For as OCD as I am, you would think I would do the same...but I always just want to get started with the car I never take the time to do a walk around with a camera and show the before and after haha...

You two do nice work...ever think about opening your own place? I would love to do it...just not $$$ able to at this stage. I used to assistant manage a professional detail shop here locally for a few years before I moved on to the garage door business.

- I have some of the before shots, but have been asked by owners not to post them.

For example: The Porsche in my gallery was horrible.. it was machine washed maybe once all season before I got it. Then to top it off she kept it in a garage with no door & open rafters that housed atleast a dozen bird nests. It took three of us hours to get the hood back to this.

- We have thought of opening our own place, but right now neither of us can afford to drop our current jobs and go for it. As it is Steve's only been able to help with the Porsche due to work.

I'm hoping next spring I'll atleast have alittle more breathing room to explore that option, sense Triss will be done her Phd.

Looks good Jason. We've been doing the same to the V6 2007. Bruce pulled the wheels off and did them and the wheel wells and I've been claybarring the car and waxing it. Interior still to be done...........then all four stangs are cleaned for this year.....just have to maintain.

Thanks, I still have the wheels & wells to go.. Ran out of time. The little guy got home (8pm'ish) right around the time I was finishing up the body. So back to the garage she went. Hopefully I can get to them this week / weekend.

Bring it out to the Richland cruise this Saturday. Train museum and good food to be had.
